The Hockley Heritage HDG - 2 Gallon Green
€195,00
A much-loved classic, reimagined for the modern gardener.
Back by popular demand after a five-year hiatus, the Hockley Heritage returns with a fresh lease of life and some contemporary updates. Originally designed by David Pennock in the early 2000s, this design is Haws through and through - from the tooling made in our own workshop, to the final hand-assembled details at our West Midlands factory.
This traditional dousing can - reminiscent of the much-loved “Peter Rabbit” style - is designed for generous watering sessions in the garden. Its distinctive pressed lattice pattern is more than just decorative: formed with over 80 tons of pressure, it reinforces the body for years of durable service to you and your garden.
A curved steel rear handle now replaces the previous wooden design, improving comfort and control when pouring. Meanwhile, the wooden top handle remains - shaped to fit your hand and finished to our usual high standard.
The Hockley Heritage shares its hardworking heart with our Bearwood Brook can, including the same large-diameter spout and General Purpose coarse spray rose. Together, they deliver a swift, even flow that makes light work of watering established plants and garden borders.
Each watering can is crafted and hot-dip galvanised by our skilled partners in Slovakia, before returning to us for the addition of signature Haws touches: the ferrules, fitted rose, final assembly and hand-finished powder coat paintwork.
A robust, practical choice with roots in British garden tradition - and now better than ever.
